Amir of Qatar Communicates with Singapore’s President on Cooperation Boost

Qatar is actively seeking to enhance its diplomatic and cooperative relations with Singapore. A written message from the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, addressed to Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, was recently delivered, emphasizing the potential for strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.

The communication was carried by Qatar’s Ambassador to Singapore, HE Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki, during a strategic meeting with Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs representative, Jeevan Singh. Singh holds the position of Director-General of the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia Directorate, and plays a pivotal role in shaping Singapore’s foreign policy in the region.

This meeting underscored the shared commitment of Qatar and Singapore to deepen their diplomatic engagements. Both countries are keen on exploring new avenues for collaboration and enhancing existing partnerships.
